New Year Resolutions

A New Year's Resolution is a tradition in which people make a promise to themselves to improve their behavior beginning on New Year's Day. Some common reasons as to why people do not reach their goals or resolutions for the year are: setting themselves unrealistic goals, not keeping track of their progress, setting too many resolutions, and forgetting about them. Some popular goals include: losing weight, laughing more often, saving money, getting a better job, and getting a better education.

If you are not following your resolutions, maybe you are doing it wrong. Following resolutions is one of the simplest tasks to accomplish. Follow these 5 rules to achieving your New Year's Resolutions.

1. Accept your weaknesses and set realistic goals.
2. Be passionate about your goals. They must be your reasons to live a happy, healthy life.
3. Bring your friends into some resolutions.
4. Go to your role models for some help. Whatever they recommend for us, we will obviously go with what they have to say.
5. Reading motivational books or quotes will boost up our self confidence. Surround yourself with motivational surroundings and you will be on the right track to achieving your goals.
