the tragic fall on 9/11

                                                                                                                                                                  This past Tuesday made it the eleventh year since the tragic terrorist attack in New York City.

                                                                                                            



On September 11th of 2001, 19 terrorists from the Islamist militant group al-Qaeda hijacked four passenger jets. At 8:46 that morning, Flight 11 crashes into the north face of the North Tower of the World Trade Center, between floors 93 and 99. At 9:03 a.m a second hijacked airliner, United Airlines Flight 175 from Boston, crashes into the south tower and explodes.

While both buildings are burning there are people in fear of what was happening, and not knowing what to do. Around 9:59 A.m the south tower collapsed, not even an hour later The World Trade Center's north tower collapses at 10:28 from the top down, releasing a tremendous cloud of debris and smoke.

Ever since that day, we have made a special place for the Twin Towers, and have never forgotten those who took their lives saving people, and who died in the attack.
