There are some amazing things that you can do with items that are just laying around the house. Everything from a drier sheet to a rubber band can be useful doing household things. Most of the items in the list I'm about to share with you have a very low cost, and it also doesn't take much time to complete. Here are 15 amazing "life hacks" that will be easy to do, saves money, and time.
- Before you throw away a post-it, run it between the keys on your keyboard to collect crumbs and dust.
- When you want to cross words out but you don't want them to be legible, instead of scribbling over them, write random letters and words over the original.
- When traveling, keep a bar of scented soap in the same compartment as your dirty laundry. It will keep your clothes smelling clean.
- Put a drier sheet in you shoes at night and they won't smell bad the morning after you put it in your shoes.
- Clear nail polish will stop a run in a pair of hose.
- In your garage, hang a tennis ball from the ceiling, over the spot where you car should stop when you are parking,
- The next time you have a sore throat, try marshmallows. The gelatin in marshmallow soothes it.
- If you have bad breath from garlic, eat a small bit of parsley, and that should get rid of the smell.
- Rust build-up? Try soaking whatever the rust is on in salt and vinegar over night. It should be good as new by morning.
- You can heal paper cuts and immediately stop the pain by rubbing chap-stick on it.
- To remove the stem on a strawberry, use a straw.
- A frozen, saturated sponge in a bag makes an icepack that drip all over the place when it melts.
- Put the straw through the tab of your pop to keep it from popping out of the can when you're trying to get a drink.
- Use unscented dental floss to cut things like cake, pumpkin rolls, and brownies.
- Put pancake mix in a ketchup bottle for easy pouring, and a no mess experience.
These are some great "life hacks" and some of them are pretty interesting. You can even come up with you own. There are many more than what I put on here. Down below are links to some of the best "life hacks" ever.
