The beauty that is you

I am lost in a daze when I look in your eyes
Drowning at see when you pass by me
There is just a spell you set on me
I cannot escape it and I really do not want to
As I look at you, you look back at me
I am lost in a maze trying to find you when you leave
Not sure if there is an escape but then you come find me
I start to feel whole again when you grab my hand
Stay by me do not ever leave me because you are my all

Scooby-Doo

Scooby Doo was pitched in 1969 as  and was supposed to be a scary TV series on CBS. The producers were afraid it would be too scary for their younger viewers but at the same time really wanted to make the show. So they made Scooby Doo, or Scoobert, the main character instead of the supporting character he was supposed to be. The Mystery Inc. consists of five teenagers; the leader Fred, accident-prone Daphne, bookish Velma, and hungry-hungry slacker Shaggy and their trusty Great Dane, Scooby Doo.

In 1979 Scooby meets up with his family for the first time in the series. Scooby meets up with his hill billy cousins and the most famous of his family, Scrappy Doo.This changed the TV series forever. The writers started looking to the future of the beloved show and started making movies.

Today the show is completely different. The gangs parents change constantly, Scooby's voice is no longer a natural voice over but an auto-tune instead, there have even been several movies that show how the Mystery Inc. got started and they are all different! Personally i just wish they would stay true to the show instead making it a mockery.
  Then
                                                                              Now

How bullying makes me feel.

I walk in and everyone starts to stop and stare,
I start to feel awkward and just run to my chair,
I stay quiet like I've done something wrong,
And bury my head because I've got to be strong,

I look up from my work; it's all started again,
The giggles and whispers, the scratch of a pen,
They're writing silly notes, passing them around,
But even right now i am not making a sound,

Break time comes; i just want to run away,
I go into the toilets, i just hope and i pray,
I look into the mirror and look right at my face,
Covered in sweat and tears, oh what a disgrace,

What am i doing crying and hiding like this,
I feel like going in the room and giving some fist,
But I'm not that kind of person, I'm just too shy,
I'm a kind person, who wouldn't even hurt a fly,

I need to go home now and get a little rest,
I'll get prepared for tomorrow and try my best,
Not to let any of them bother me in any way,
As tomorrow is the start of another new day,

At home i put on some music and have a cry,
At last i am free and at home, I give a sigh,
Then i jump into bed and i turn off the light,
But i wake up because i get such a fright,

I have had a nightmare; this is all i need now,
I want it all to go away, I ask why and how,
Is this all my fault for being scared and quiet?
Is it my fault that I'm thin and their on a diet,

But i am just me I can’t be anybody else, ever,
because i don't want to feel like this, not now or never!

How to chalk dye your hair!

You'll need:
Soft pastel chalk or oil pastels(They work better).
A small spray bottle filled with water
A flat iron or curling iron
Rubber gloves
A old towel or t-shirt you don't mind getting color on.

Step 1: Spray a 1-inch section of hair with water. You don't need to soak the entire strand, just go as high up as you want the color to be.

Step 2: Color on your hair with one of the pastels. I recommend choosing about three colors, and putting one at a time in your hair. Start with the lightest shade first, since, as you can see, the color gets all over your gloves and you'll end up with a muddied version of the same hue throughout if you go dark to light.

Step 3: Wait for your hair to air dry.

Step 4: Using the flat iron, go over each colored strand. This sets the colors in your hair, so it will last longer. Then brush and style however you normally would!

It usually will stay in until you wash your hair. It comes out with Shampoo, but if you have blonde hair or lighter hair then it should stay in for a week.Depending on how often you wash your hair.

It's really not the same

On the wind I can hear you, on the breeze you call my name
In the cloudy sky I can see your face,
But it's really not the same.

You're everywhere around me,
yet I dare not feel your touch,
In a world undead, I just bow my head,
God knows I miss you much.
In our bedroom on the nightstand table,
stands our picture in a frame,
The one of us dressed up in Arkansas,
Wild Bill and Calamity Jane
Bound to our bed you struggle,
straining and growling so,
I cry as I try to make everything alright,
because I refuse to let you go.
Where have you gone to,
can you see the tears upon my face
Do you know how much I love you still,
that my love will never change.

In the backyard grows the flowers,
that you planted before you left,
I tend to them as I know you would,
I just can't help myself.
The smell sometimes overpowers me,
the smell of your decay

And your teeth they try to tear at me
as you wither day after dreadful day
This house is cold and lonely, a home no longer now,
Just a place, where I stare into space
and drift away somehow Back to the days that I remember,
the days when our love was true,
When time stood still and you weren't ill,
before this plague come sweeping through
On the wind I can hear you, on the breeze you call my name
In the cloudy sky I can see your face,
but it’s really not the same.

25 Christmas Facts

  1. The Germans made the first artificial Christmas trees out of dyed goose feathers.
  2. Each year more than 3 billion Christmas cards are sent in the U.S. alone.
  3. In A.D. 350, Pope Julius I, bishop of Rome, proclaimed December 25 the official celebration date for the birthday of Christ.
  4.
  5. According to data analyzed from Facebook posts, two weeks before Christmas is one of the two most popular times for couples to break up. However, Christmas Day is the least favorite day for breakups.
  6. The world’s largest Christmas stocking measured 106 feet and 9 inches (32.56 m) long and 49 feet and 1 inch (14.97 m) wide. It weighed as much as five reindeer and held almost 1,000 presents. It was made by the Children’s Society in London on December 14, 2007.
  7. Christmas trees have been sold in the U.S. since 1850.

  9. The British wear paper crowns while they eat Christmas dinner. The crowns are stored in a tube called a “Christmas cracker.”
  10. In Poland, spiders or spider webs are common Christmas trees decorations because according to legend, a spider wove a blanket for Baby Jesus. In fact, Polish people consider spiders to be symbols of goodness and prosperity at Christmas.
  11. Alabama was the first state in the United States to officially recognize Christmas in 1836.
  12. Christmas wasn’t declared an official holiday in the United States until June 26, 1870.
  13. Oklahoma was the last U.S. state to declare Christmas a legal holiday, in 1907.

  18. Puritan Oliver Cromwell outlawed Christmas celebrations and carols in England from 1649-1660.
  19. Christmas stockings allegedly evolved from three sisters who were too poor to afford a marriage dowry and were, therefore, doomed to a life of prostitution. They were saved, however, when the wealthy Bishop Saint Nicholas of Smyrna (the precursor to Santa Claus) crept down their chimney and generously filled their stockings with gold coins.
  20. There are two competing claims as to which president was the first to place a Christmas tree in the White House. Some scholars say President Franklin Pierce did in 1856; others say President Benjamin Harrison brought in the first tree in 1889. President Coolidge started the White House lighting ceremony in 1923.
  21. President Teddy Roosevelt, an environmentalist, banned Christmas trees from the White House in 1912.
  22.
  23. The first person to decorate a Christmas tree was reportedly the Protestant reformer Martin Luther (1483-1546). According to legend, he was so moved by the beauty of the stars shining between the branches of a fir tree, he brought home an evergreen tree and decorated it with candles to share the image with his children.
  24. Approximately 30-35 million real (living) Christmas trees are sold each year in the U.S.

If there are on average 2.5 children per household, Santa would have to make 842 million stops on Christmas Eve, traveling 221 million miles. To reach all 842 million stops, Santa would need to travel between houses in 2/10,000 second, which means he would need to accelerate 12.19 million miles (20.5 billion meters) per second on each stop.

My Heart is Yours

I'll cut my own chest open,
take my heart out and hand it to you.
That's how much love I got for you.

It's made of stone,
and I doubt it can be broken.
When it loves it loves hard.
When it's cold it's cold for long.

Angel, I know you're here
because you've fallen.
I'll help you mend you wings,
and from this hell you'll be free.

Together you and me
we'll fly to eternity,
burn in the hottest passion of hells fire.
Love each other endlessly.
Endure pain, and love each other madly.

How to Make Your Own Christmas Stocking

How to Make Your Own Christmas Stocking

How Much Fabric to Buy

The stocking basically consists of one rectangle 6" by 14" and a square 6" by 6". You'll need two of these for each stocking, so, including a ½" seam allowance, you'll need a piece of fabric 14" by 15" per stocking.
You'll also need some matching braid to hang the stocking, or you can make a hanger using the leftover fabric.

The Pattern

christmas stocking patternTo make your pattern, you just need a piece of paper, a ruler, and something circular to round off the corners.
Draw a rectangle on your paper 15" long by 7" wide. Now draw a square touching the bottom left hand side of your rectangle which goes out for 6½" and up for 7", then join it back on to your rectangle.
You should now have a shape that looks like a backwards capital L. Now all you need to do is round off the heel and toe of your stocking using something circular (or do it freehand).
Fold your fabric in half with right sides together, and pin the stocking pattern to the fabric. Now cut out.
If you are making a contrasting trim for your stocking, you'll also need to cut out a rectangle 13" long and however wide you want your trim (plus ½" seam allowance)
.

To Make Up

If you are going to decorate your stocking with Christmas cut-outs or appliqués, do it now before we assemble the stocking. The cut-outs can either be machine sewn, hand sewn, or attached with craft glue.
The same goes for your contrast trim. Any thing you ant to attach should be done before we sew it on to the stocking.
To make the stocking, pin the two stocking pieces (right sides together), and sew from the top of one side all the way around to the top of the other side. If you are not attaching a contrasting trim, turn over your top hem and pin, remembering to insert the braid or fabric for the hanger before you sew the hem.
If you are using a contrasting trim, turn your stocking inside out so that the right side is now facing you.
Stitch the trim together at the ends so you now have a circle of fabric. Place your trim inside the top of the stocking with the right side facing towards the inside of the stocking. Match the top of your trim to the top of the stocking, and pin in place.
Take your braid or fabric for the hanger, and insert it where you want it between the trim and stocking with the open ends flush with the top of the trim and the stocking. Now sew around the entire top of the stocking. Turn the trim right way around, and you're done!

Christmas Crafts

You can make a very simple reindeer puppet using a small paper lunch bag. The antlers are made from handprints traced on construction paper.
Supplies needed:
  • Paper bags
  • Deep red (or another color) construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Markers or crayons
  • Optional - googly eyes

Trace two hands on construction paper. Cut them out. These will be the reindeer's antlers.
Fold the two square edges of a paper bag under (at the dotted lines), to form the reindeer's head.
You now have the shape of the reindeer's head for the puppet.
Glue, tape, or staple the handprints behind the reindeer's head.Cut out eyes from construction paper (or glue on googly eyes). Using red paper, cut out and glue on a large red nose. Glue them to the reindeer's face. Draw a mouth with a marker or crayons.

This activity would be very enjoyable for most ages under 10, or just to do for family fun! I know I'm definitely gonna try it out.
