The Walking Dead Episode 4:Around Every Corner Part 1

For TV watchers everywhere, the new season of The Walking Dead premiered on Sunday. It's not too hard to notice that they love the show. But for video game players, like myself, something else caught our eye and made us smile. If you didn't know, an awesome video game company called Telltale games make really, really great video game adaptations about movie and TV shows. They made a game about Back to the Future, something that was awesome. Why; because it was the first good Back to the Future game! Now, as I was saying-oh okay, fine.

The games that Telltale make are not your average game. If you know what a point-and-click game is; forget what you know about it. Telltale makes these games more than a boring movie based on your clicks of the mouse. They add small puzzles, ones that make you feel like it could happen to you. They make the characters seem real, for example; in Back to the Future, Doc Brown sounds and acts like he does in the movies. It's like the fourth movie.

But on to The Walking Dead, my friends. Now just forewarning here; there will be spoilers of the last episode and of this episode. So when you see SPOILER ALERT; skip ahead until you see IT'S SAFE. With that, let's begin.

The Episode starts with a recap from last time. This mainly shows you what some of your decisions had done from last episode. Afterwards; the group arrives in Savannah, yet it's empty, no zombie in sight. That soon changes when a bell is rung and walkers come from all directions. 

Forcing you to aim and shoot at the ones in your path. In all the chaos, Ben and Clementine are cornered at a wall. Ben then runs off, leaving Clem to the zombies. Chuck saves her by attacking them with a shovel. He fends the undead off while you escape. All of this leads to you finding safety in a houses enclosed backyard. But there is a problem, the door is locked and there is no key in sight. Puzzle time, everyone! What you have to do is find a dead dog and take his collar to open the doggy door. Once inside, you can search around, you check to make sure that everything is okay and that no walkers are around. But soon Lee is called to the attic that Kenny was looking in. You go up to see if it's okay and you stop dead in your tracks.

Halloween Recipe!

It's almost Halloween! Time to get in the Halloween spirit and make some good treats. Here's a recipe for Goblins with Pumpkin Dip

GOBLINS:
1/2 cup sugar
1 to 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
20 flour tortillas (10 inches)

PUMPKIN DIP:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 can (15 ounces) solid-pack pumpkin
3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions:
In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Cut tortillas with a ghost-shaped 3-1/2-in. cookie cutter; place on baking sheets coated with cooking spray.
Spritz goblins with cooking spray; sprinkle with reserved cinnamon-sugar. Bake at 350° for 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks.
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the pumpkin, pie spice, vanilla and ginger; beat until blended. Serve warm or chilled with goblins. Refrigerate leftover dip. Yield: 3-1/2 cups dip (about 40 goblins).

DIY Nail Ideas

DIY Music Note nails (:
All you need is...

• Black nail polish or a black nail polish marker
• white nail polish
• topcoat
• toothpicks

1. Start by applying the white nail polish to the nails
2. Wait til that drys then take the black nail polish marker and draw straight lines at the tips of the nails
3. If you don't have a nail polish marker take the tooth pick and dip it in black nail polish and draw the line.
4. When the lines are dry take your marker or tooth pick and draw the music notes.
5. When Your nails have finished drawing apply the topcoat and you're finished!

The Bullying Stops Here

Many people think that all bullying is, is a bigger person pushing a smaller person around. It's not! The worst type of bullying and the most common is verbal and mental bullying. Bully is the main cause of suicide today. For every one suicide there are at least one hundred attempts and in high school 14% of students consider it with 7% attempting it. That doesn't seem like a lot but that is actually thousands of kids and some may be your friends. Bullies pick on others to make themselves feel power, importance, popularity, etc. We are all people and as humans we all have flaws! No one is perfect! People may have personal problems at their home and the last thing they need is to go to school or work and have to deal with even more physical and/or mental torture.
