Bullying
Bullying is a big issue that is happening in the world today. Bullying usually occurs between high schoolers and middle schools and teenagers. There's been a bunch of problems in school and everything over kids bullying other kids. There are different kinds of bullying.
Verbal bullying is where people are calling people names, making rude comments to them face to face. Physical bullying is where hitting and stuff is involved. " I think bullies should be punished more then they are." said Iyanna Patrick
Relational bullying is where someone stops someone from sitting with their table or sitting with them. Cyberbullying is where it occurs online and people make rude comment online and post bad stuff on social media. The bad thing about bullying is some people are to embarrassed to say anything about it or tell anyone. There are kids who see bullying happening at school but don't say anything in fear that they may be the next victim to get bullied. According to online statistics about 75% of school shooting accidents have been because of someone getting bullied and harassed. People who get bullied are at risk to commit suicide and get depression and anxiety really easy, it messes with their self control and their self esteem. If you ever see someone getting bullied or someone is bullying you, you should tell someone and not be afraid to tell what happens. Telling an adult about bullying if you're getting bullied or watching someone get bullied can really help and save them in the long run. Bullying is not really considered a crime but you still could get into really big trouble if you are caught bullying someone. Almost all of the states have passed a law against bullying and schools don't allow bullying. They have projects and rallies and stuff that are against bullies and against bullying. I think bullying happens more to teenagers and during high school then any other time. In my opinion people bully others because they feel bad about themselves and they see other people and they want to try to make them feel how they feel. " Bullying is disgusting." said Kenzie Darby

Making plans for the future can be very complicated. Seniors in high school really have the pressure of making major decisions that will effect their whole life. There comes a time when you must chose a career. Many people struggle to make this decision. People ask themselves should I be a doctor, lawyer, teacher, social worker, or a firefighter. There are many factors to look at such as what you enjoy, how much money you would earn, and location. When it all comes down to it you should chose whatever makes you happiest. Money may be important or mean a lot to you but everyone should enjoy what they do. A person should wake up in the morning and look forward to the day because they enjoy their job. So when it comes down to making your decision choose whatever makes you happy.
Talkin Tubmans
Talkin' Tubmans
Harriet Tubman has recently been announced as the new face of the $20 bill. With this being said, it has removed Andrew Jackson who many thought shouldn't have been on there in the first place because he is garbage. As for Tub, she is a real American hero showing valor and strength standing up to white people on the bus like they were equals at the time.
H-Tub is a wonderful thing for the African-American community because it allows them to express themselves in ways they have never done before, like the already famous quote, "Talkin' Tubmans", which refers to the handling of a large amount of $20 bills. As well as this, it just shows how far the country has come in its strides for equal rights. I think Tub being on the $20 bill is awesome and I am excited to have one in my hands, and hopefully within he near future I can be, "Talkin' Tubmans".
